Guest Blog Post by @DiverseGems "Maturity"

Maturity is the ability to think, speak and act out your feelings while still maintaining your dignity. Your maturity is measured by your character in the midst of your frustrations. We often get so caught up in our emotions that we find it difficult to express ourselves. That's why it is important to think before reacting. The best decisions I have ever made have been made after taking my time to think about what I was doing. When you are patient, you can take your time to look at a situation from every possible angle. When you make hasty decisions, or have hasty reactions, you miss something. Things usually end up worst than they first started. Although committing one immature act does not make a person immature, you can still be seen that way, depending on the situation. Once things are said and done they cannot be taken back. The only difference between a mature act and an immature act is how we handle our emotions. Age is not a factor, nor is it an excuse.
